Milk – 1 cup
Cardamon – 2 pods
Ginger – 1 tsp
Turmeric – 1 tsp
Honey – to taste
Recipe
- Heat 1 cup organic milk (or substitute with almond or coconut or soy milk if preferred) in a saucepan over medium heat.
- Add 2 ground cardamom (or 1 teaspoon fresh grated ginger if you plan to drink in afternoon)
- Add 1 teaspoon peeled, grated fresh turmeric or 1 teaspoon turmeric powder.
- Simmer all the ingredients for 8-10 minutes and stir well.
- Strain and sweeten to taste (use honey or maple syrup).
